FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS John and I were buying our first home and we asked Karen to help us find one in a good neighborhood and in our price range. Karen gave us valuable information on several neighborhoods including information on schools, demographics, amenities, etc.
She showed us homes every weekend for several months until we found a home that was perfect for us. She explained all of the forms and disclosures associated with the transaction to us so that we could understand the process.
She worked with the Loan Officer, escrow and title to make sure that the purchase went smoothly. We love our new home and are looking forward to seeing Karen at our Housewarming party.
FOR SALE BY OWNER After trying to sell my home by myself for over three weeks, I was contacted by Karen. During that time I had a lot of people who looked at the property but no offers. I was also contacted by numerous agents regarding listing my property. I felt that Karen was the most knowledgeable and professional realtor that had contacted me so I listed with her. During the listing period I moved to Oregon and left Karen with the keys and to sell my home and wrap things up. She worked very hard to sell the home and it sold in a very short period of time. She held Open Houses, produced flyers and marketed it directly to other agents as well as placing it on the MLS. She made sure that all of the paper work was finished on time and we even ended up closing a little early. I have recommended Karen to all of my neighbors. She was very responsive to her buyer's needs and gave her all of the additional information that she needed. LISTED MY HOME AND SOLD ME A NEW ONE I had wanted to move to the downtown area and Karen showed me several places that interested me.
There was one special place that I really liked but was not sure how I would buy that one sell my existing place at the same time. Karen negotiated a 45 days escrow for the new place and then we put my existing home on the market.
She helped me "stage"; it and fix it up so that I could get top dollar for it. It sold in a very short time and we had just a 30 day escrow. It resulted in not having to carry two properties at once.
I am very happy with my new lifestyle in the downtown area and glad that Karen helped me make the move.
